Clara’s passion is to provide quality child care where young children can grow and be happy in healthy, loving environments. She believes the future of our planet is in the hands of these little ones.

Work with children in a shelter for homeless families

Clara is currently writing a book about the infant’s emotional life in day care. Her fictional story traces the hour-by-hour story of an infant's first day at daycare - and her Mom’s first day back at work. Woven through the story are childcare and Momcare tips, key strategies, and specific questions to help Mom and her baby stay emotionally connected and secure during the early days of their first major separation.

Clara is currently a full time early childhood educator and part time writer. She writes poetry and articles for small newsletters and publications. Suite 101 is Clara’s first stint writing for an online magazine.
